Tami Markes

Hi I am a Kindergarten teacher. I received my BS in Education from NSU in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. I have taught for seven years, but this is my first year at Afton. I am married to David Markes, also a teacher at Afton, and have two great boys. Ryan is my oldest boy. He is in the 10th grade. My youngest son is Bradley. He is in the 6th grade.

We have many projects that our class is doing this year. Every week we study a different letter, shape, and color. We are going on a few field trips in October. We are also building a scrapbook for this year.

We plan on having a fun and exciting year!
