" My Name is Shauntel Highley....Graduate of Miami High school, went to collage at NEO, NSU, PSU, and the University of Phoenix. The year will be my 10th year of teaching. Only my 2nd year teaching at Afton.

    I currently teach 10th, 11th, and 12th grade English, along with AP and Pre-AP English. I'm the student council sponsor as well.

     My husband and I have one daughter, Dacee Elizabeth, who is 4 years old, And Currently In pre-school at Afton. 

    Some of my favorite units to teach are: Mythology, To Kill A Mockingbird, Shakespeare, New England Renaissance, World Literature and Poetry.

    Some of My hobbies include; hunting, reading, scrap booking, and just being with my family.
