Hi! My name is Betty Kinsey. I received an Associates Degree from N.E.O. and then my B.S.E. from M.S.S.U. in Joplin. I have taught at Afton for 14 years, before that I was a teacher's  assistant at Fairland Schools for 5 years. I have been married for 37 years and have 2 sons. My oldest son is an engineer and lives in Norman. My youngest son is an accountant and lives between Fairland and Miami.

    I enjoy spending time with my 2 grandchildren, fishing, camping, watching TV, and reading.

    This year in my classroom, I will be focusing on PASS objectives and preparing my students for the writing test, book reports are big issue and units of the Holocaust and Edgar Allen Poe.
