🦅🏈Attention High School Football Players. 🏈🦅
Spring football will resume Wednesday and Thursday 10 am- 12 pm. We will travel to Commerce Friday for team camp, Bus leaves at 8:30, camp starts at 10:00.
7v7 will be Tuesdays in June @ Wyandotte starting at 6:00 pm. It will begin June 2nd.
Linemen need to visit with Coach Carr or Coach Cap about signing up for the Bixby Line Camp this week.

On Friday, we held a retirement luncheon to celebrate the amazing Afton Eagle staff who are retiring this year!! 🧡🦅🌟
Mrs. Colby's math classes had their multiplication party yesterday! Based on the test they passed they could earn popcorn, candy, drinks, and pizza😊

All 6th-12th grade students need to bring their chromebook & charger tomorrow for check-in, if they haven't already.
3rd grade had some fun with a team building activity. They had to stack cups in groups of 3, where every member of the group had to use only 1 finger to stack the cups as high as they could. After having a 3 way tie with 8 cups, we finally had a group break the record with 9 cups! (This was both Mrs. Allen & Mrs. Victor's classes mixed together in the groups)

Students who are traveling home from the 8th grade trip will be arriving at the school around 6:45. The bus will be at the front of the elementary office.
If you have a student that will be in the high school next year, they should have received a 2026-2027 schedule form. They were asked to take home to discuss with their guardian/parent & return back to school as soon as possible. If they did not receive form or need another one, they must see Mrs. Shouse.
The highlight of being a 5th grader is rockets!! 🚀 Mr. Markes does an amazing job teaching all about rockets, then the students will paint the rockets and get them ready for launch. Mr.Markes collects pop cans year around to help finance this fun activity for the students.

Tonight Mrs. Jessica Davis and her bands performed the Sounds of Nature band concert. It was an outstanding performance by both bands. They were led by seniors, Eris Cross and Brittany Ranger. Job well done Eagles!!
📚The 4th Grade students have been busy creating some awesome things this past week!
🌎In Mrs. Colby's class, they created a State Report Lapbook and State Reports with lots of cool and interesting information on their states!
📚In Mrs. Marinos' class, they got to choose an animal that lived in their state and create a diorama box for that animal, as well as write reports on their specific animals!

The 3rd-grade students have been working on their volcano projects, and were able to set them off this week for the younger elementary students to watch and learn how volcanoes function.🌋
The 3rd Grade celebrated their completion of State Testing by ending their week with an ice cream party yesterday!
