Mrs. Pierce's Culinary Essentials class has been learning about the importance of leavening agents. Students made four different muffin recipes, some without a leavening agent and others with multiple leavening agents. They then compared and contrasted the muffins.

5th and 6th grade basketball competed in the Afton Fireman's tournament this week. The girls finished second, the boys CHAMPIONS! It's always a great day to be an Eagle! 🦅

Mrs. Colby's 4th grade classes just completed their Owl pellet project. During this project students had to identify what the owl ate after dissecting the pellet and figure out what food chain that goes with it. The 4th grade students have been studying how a food web is all the food chains in an ecosystem!

RYLA Juniors and CIT's attended the Miami Rotary Club Banquet on Tuesday November 5th. We would like to thank the Miami Rotary Club for their hospitality.

The FCCLA Blood Drive scheduled for this Thursday has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 20th. We will keep the current appointments as is unless a time needs changed. The HS Girls Attended "My Life" @ NEO College in Miami yesterday. Every girl received a jump rope from "Learnin' the Ropes".

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Brian Jackson, JD Anderson the Iceman, and the Wyandotte Nation! Our students PK-12 learned about the importance of believing in yourself, and setting goals.
