Afton FCCLA Blood Drive Announcement 🩸
Afton FCCLA is excited to kick off this year’s blood drives! Our first event will take place on Wednesday, August 27th, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the high school gym.
This year, we’re partnering with the Oklahoma Blood Institute instead of the Red Cross. We’re thrilled about this change because all blood donations will now stay in our local hospitals, directly benefiting our communities.
To sign up, please refer to the flyer for the website link or scan the QR code provided.
If your student is 16 or 17 years old, a youth permission slip is required for them to participate. The permission slip is attached below and also includes a QR code for easy online completion.
Thank you for supporting this important cause!

Parents, a quick heads-up about our morning drop-off policy.
To ensure the safety of all students, the back parking lot will be closed to all traffic after 7:30 a.m. each morning. It will stay closed through the school day until 3:30 p.m. This allows our staff to safely prepare for the school day and helps keep the area clear for buses and foot traffic.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us make every morning a safe one!
Hello Afton School Family,
We are writing to inform you of our new Personal Electronic Devices policy, which will take effect at the start of the upcoming school year. This policy, which is a requirement of state law, outlines the guidelines for student use of cell phones, smartwatches, and other personal electronic devices during school hours.
We understand that policies like this can spark discussion. Our primary goal is to create the best possible learning environment for all students, and we believe this policy will help us achieve that.
Thank you for your understanding and continued partnership. If you have questions, please contact the school office.
