Afton Elementary students decorated the trees in our town's square today in preparation for the Christmas parade Friday at 6:00. We hope to see everyone at the parade.









💚2024 Afton Annual Christmas Parade Celebration❤️
The Afton Christmas Parade will be held this Friday, December 6th starting at 6:00 p.m. Lots of candy will be thrown to kiddos and Santa Clause will be arriving on the last fire truck in the parade, and will be greeting kiddos in the Afton Fire Station. Several free drawings will be held at the conclusion of the parade. The American Legion will be giving 4 bicycles away. Get your free ticket for the bicycles before the parade from the American Legion member. Cherokee Nation and the Afton Chamber of Commerce will be giving 10 frozen turkeys. Our Eagle Family Thanksgiving was a huge success! We are so thankful to be able to celebrate Thanksgiving with our community. We have to give a huge shout out to our hero's behind the scenes (some not pictured.) We are thankful for all you do everyday!

The FCCLA Blood Drive will be held this Wednesday from 9:00 am -2:00 pm in the High School Gym. We still have twenty-one spots to fill for Wednesday's blood drive, so feel free to book an appointment online. We also take walk-ins.
Afton Band Day has been rescheduled for Saturday December 14th, times will stay the same 10am-4pm. Lunch will be provided.
**Update: The time of the paint party has been pushed back to 7 pm due to the Christmas parade. We look forward to seeing you all there. Afton FCCLA will be hosting a Christmas Paint Party. It will be held on Friday, December 6th in the School Cafeteria. $30 fee includes a canvas, all paint supplies and refreshments. Mrs. Pierce's Culinary Essentials class has been learning about the importance of leavening agents. Students made four different muffin recipes, some without a leavening agent and others with multiple leavening agents. They then compared and contrasted the muffins.
5th and 6th grade basketball competed in the Afton Fireman's tournament this week. The girls finished second, the boys CHAMPIONS! It's always a great day to be an Eagle! 🦅
